1. Introduction

Xpress ID is an internal mobile application developed by Air India Express for staff travel management. It streamlines consent handling for concession or passage fare bookings, automates boarding pass generation, and provides access to real-time seat availability, flight status, and journey history.

2. Eligibility & Access

  • Restricted to authorized employees of Air India Express and Air India.
  • Access provided via official Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Credential sharing or misuse is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.

3. Data & Privacy

The app securely handles limited employee information (name, employee ID, PNR, contact details) for processing travel consent and sending boarding passes. Data is managed under Air India Express Information Security Policy and not shared with third parties.

4. Scenarios Requiring Counter Visit

  1. No consent provided within time frame.
  2. Overbooked or full flights.
  3. Travelling with infants.
  4. Priority sequence limitations.
  5. Jump seat allocation per SOP.
  6. Employee changed mind after rejecting consent.
  7. International flights (Xpress ID is domestic only).

5. Service Availability & Liability

  • Temporary outages may occur during maintenance.
  • Air India Express is not liable for delays due to connectivity issues or external system failures.
  • Unauthorized access or credential misuse is the employee’s responsibility.
